yet all of them know
it is the change that is here to stay
and all the rest must go.
the flowers bloom, the flowers wilt
no wall stands forever however well built
the shapes of clouds keep changing
yet all of them rain
people keep growing stronger
with every passing pain
tears and all there reasons
they too change there ways
you see..... everything goes
it is just change... that stays
to change...........is to be
to be..........is to change
but i hope the same is not for me
i wish change just overlooks me
i wish not to change with the passing years
i wish not to change with smiles or tears
now there is something that i would like to say
before our time drifts away
i want you to hold me tight and say
"the world may change......but i'll stay this way"
